For a business owner

Describe the outside event that could hurt the business. BizHedge then reflects the exposure and searches current event markets for one useful relationship; when none fits, it returns a clear no-fit result.

The final brief shows the selected side, why it pays in the harmful world, upfront cost, gross payout and the loss that remains. All market facts and dollar arithmetic come from application code.

The normal path is:

  1. State the business outcome in ordinary language.
  2. Confirm or correct the reflected exposure.
  3. Inspect the candidates and the selected side.
  4. Supply one missing number when sizing needs it.
  5. Read the two-world result and its material limitation.
  6. Open the market yourself or share a public-safe receipt.

Four worked cases

The keyless cases use the same public stage shapes as live analysis, making the system inspectable without a model call.

p019: separate the owner's risk from a suggested one

The salon owner says financing rates do not really touch the business and names a $12,500 recession-driven demand loss instead. Detect keeps that distinction. YES on a 2026 recession contract becomes the proxy for the stated demand risk; at an 11 cent paid-side price, the full advisory construction costs $1,375 and can return $12,500 gross if the contract resolves YES.

p011: apply an owner budget after selection

The roofing company states $49,500 of fuel-cost risk. Because gasoline and diesel both follow the pump-price driver, a retail gasoline contract serves as a labeled proxy. The full construction costs $10,395 at 21 cents. Budget changes size. With a manual $2,500 budget, the deterministic continuation keeps $49,500 at risk, rounds cost to $2,500, can return $11,904 gross and leaves $37,596 exposed.

p900: stop at no-fit

The ice cream shop names an $18,000 freezer-compressor loss. Austin weather markets share context, but none settles on the compressor failing. No position is built; the full $18,000 stays exposed and the missing equipment-failure outcome becomes a gap.

p901: keep Sports in the promotion product

The taproom offers a free round if Philadelphia wins and caps the promise at $8,000. Here the matching game contract is a direct promotional trigger: at a 59 cent price, the advisory construction costs $4,720 and can return $8,000 gross if Philadelphia wins.

For a market-design partner

Use Partner Demand to inspect grouped evidence about risks that still lack a clean market. The dashboard keeps modeled cases, observed analysis gaps and explicit requests separate.

For system integration, begin with authentication, then follow the snapshot and sync protocol.
